John Abraham opens Radio Mirchi studio in B'lore

Bangalore, Aug 22 (UNI) Leading Bollywood star John Abraham today inaugurated the office and studios of Radio Mirchi, the hottest radio station in Bangalore.

As a special treat to Bangaloreans, Sakkath Hot star Abraham was on air talking to Mirchi listeners as part of the immensely popular, morning drive time show, Hello Bangalore. Thereafter, he interacted with his fans who were selected through a contest and invited to the studio for a tete-a-tete with their favourite actor.

Mr AP Parigi, Managing Director and CEO, ENIL, Radio Mirchi, was also present on the occasion.

In a little over 100 days, Radio Mirchi has become one of the leading radio stations in Bangalore with a steadily increasing loyal listener base. As per the latest Car Tracks conducted by IMRB, Radio Mirchi has over 50 per cent in market share.

Mr Parigi attributed the success of the station to delivering programmes that were relevant to the people of Bangalore. This was a station for Bangaloreans-speaking their language and touching upon their day-to-day lives, he said.
