Court seeks status of trial in flood relief scam

Patna, Aug 23 (UNI) Patna High court today asked the lower court to apprise it of the status of trial in the multi crore flood relief scam within a week .

While hearing separate regular bail applications of Dr Gautam Goswami, former District Magistrate of Patna and Devendra Kumar former Additional DM of Patna, a single bench of Justice Chandramauli Kumar Prasad directed the lower court to submit a detailed report of the case.

Both the accused are in the Beur Central jail in connection with the scam.
