3-day session on Marathi film industry to be held in Kolhapur

Kolhapur, Aug 23 (UNI) Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Chitrapat Mahamandal(ABMCM) has decided to arrange Marathi film industry-based three-day session in Kolhapur from November 9.

Informing this to reporters here today ABMCM president Ajay Sarpotdar said 20 workshops on Marathi-film industry like sound system, use of modern technology, make-up, film set-up, location selction for shoot and others will be conducted during the three-day session.

On November 10, a big rally based on Marathi film industry highlighting popular old Marathi films would be taken in the city, besides debates on various subjects pertaining to problems faced by Marathi film industry and the suggested solutions and other progrmmes would be organised, he said.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh will be chief guest at the session, he said.
