205 cadets pass out of 3 military training regiment

Panaji, Aug 23 (UNI) Altogether 205 cadets from different trades passed out of 3 Military training Regiment (MTR) at Margao in south Goa, after successful completion of 20 weeks intial Military training.

The 3 MTR Commending officer Col A K Chug after reviewing the passing out parade addressing the cadets on the occasion congratulated them for a smart turn out at the parade and appealed them to contribute their might in the technical advancement of various military units in the country.

''You may inspire others also to join the corps of Signals, an important segment of the Indian Army,'' he said.

Commanding officers of various signal units who attended the passing out parade also expressed their satisfaction over the performace of the passing out parade and hoped they will keep up the spirit when they will join these signal units in future. The cadets will join the technical training Regiment as the next leg of their training in the Corps of Signals.

Col Chug awarded medals to the cadets who showed remarakable performance in weapon training, drill and physical edurance, during their training period at 3 MTR. Rect. Ajay Kumar, Jitendra Singh, Satendra Singh, Sunil Kumar, Binoy Kumar Negi and Shinu P were the cadets felicitated with medals while 11 others were fecilcitated with a trophy.
