Pradeep Kar is Bangalore TiE President

Bangalore, Aug 22: The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) today announced the appointment of Microland Founder and CEO Pradeep Kar as President of its Bangalore chapter.

In this capacity, Mr Kar would provide strategic direction to enhance the entrepreneurial climate in Bangalore and further strengthen the city's connect with the global entrepreneurial and business eco-system, a TiE release here said.

Mr Kar said the Bangalore chapter was one of the most vibrant in the TiE world and hoped to create a robust business environment while supporting entrepreneurs in the city, helping them leverage the benefits of TiE global network.

TiE is a global not-for-profit organisation focused on promoting entrepreneurship. It helped budding entrepreneurs through advice, guidance and assistance from successful and experienced entrepreneurs and professionals. TiE's greatest strength was its network link in 44 cities across nine countries.
