Air Force jawan from Jharkhand dies in road mishap

Vadodara, Aug 22 (UNI) An Indian Air Force (IAF) personnel from Jharkhand died here this morning when a truck ran over him, near Darjipura in the city.

Kundan Kumar Gupta (27), was on his way to office on a motorcycle. He lost his balance due to pot-holes in the road and fell on the National highway no 8, when a speeding truck which was coming from behind ran over him.

The truck driver fled from the scene soon after the incident, police said, adding that a manhunt has been sounded on the highway.
