Two soldiers killed, another wounded in Kashmir accident

Srinagar, Aug 21 (UNI) Two soldiers were killed and another wounded when their vehicle fell into a deep gorge in Uri town of north Kashmir's Baramulla district today, police said.

They said an army mini-truck skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge at Thajwani village in border town of Uri at around 0830 hrs this morning resulting in on the spot death of two soldiers and wounding another.

The wounded soldier was rushed to hospital, where his condition is said to be critical, police said.
