SVU to conduct sports,cultural meet for non-teaching staff

Tirupati, Aug 21 (UNI) Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) will conduct competitions in sports and a cultural meet for non-teaching staff in universities in Andhra Pradesh from Aug 30 to September one as part of the foundation day celebrations.

Addressing a press conference here today, SVU Vice-Chancellor S Jayarama Reddy said the event would be a platform for the non-teaching staff of the universities to interact.

Mr Reddy said nearly 450 staff members from 15 universities would take part in the event.
