Sachin carries his children's wishes in his kit bag
Colombo, Aug 21 (UNI) Sachin Tendulkar, no matter wherever he plays, has the wishes of billions of his fans who swear by his name.
But the most special wishes are something which he carry in his kit bag and those are from his kids.
It's not possible for both Sara and Arjun to accompany their father all the time but their wishes do stay with Tendulkar wherever cricket takes the Little Champion. It's not just four bats, some extra grips, gloves and other cricket paraphernalia that fight for space in Tendulkar's crammed kit bag, ''coffin'' in the cricket parlance.
Every time he opened the bag to fish out a bat or glove during the practice, there was a curious piece of art glued to the inside lid.
''From Mama, Sara, Arjun All The Best'' read the piece with an Indian national flag in the background, along with the wheel, though the number of spokes couldn't be figured out.
Asked who painted the flag and left the message, Tendulkar said it was a joint venture between his 10-year-old daughter and six-year-old son.
''Both Sara and Arjun painted the flag and wrote the message,'' he told UNI.
