Pravin Mahajan's custody extended till September one
Mumbai, Aug 21 (UNI) The session court here today extended the judicial custody of Pravin Mahajan, accused of killing his elder brother and senior BJP leader Pramod Mahajan, to September one.
Pravin was produced before additional sessions judge S P Davare here today for seeking extension of his custody which the judge accepted.
Immediately after filing the charge sheet last month, Pravin had moved a bail plea before the additional sessions judge Abhya Thipsay, which was rejected on August one on the ground that prima facie case was made against him.
Pravin, who is at present lodged in the high-security cell of Arthur Road Jail, was arrested by the Worli police on April 22 for allegedly shooting his elder brother.
