Low pressure;more rains likely in Orissa

Bhubaneswar,Aug 21 (UNI) A low pressure formed over North Bay of Bengal is likely to intensify further and cause heavy rains at most places in Orissa during the next 48 hours.

Met sources said heavy to very heavy rains will occur at a few places over Orissa following the low pressure.The local cautionary signal number three had been hoisted at Gopalpur, Puri, Paradip and Chandbali.

The fishermen had been advised not to venture into sea as the sea condition would be very rough during the next 48 hours. Wind speed reaching over 60 kmphs likely to prevail along and off the Orissa coast, the Met office warned.
