HP assembly adjourned after paying homage to Bismillah Khan

Shimla, Aug 21 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh assembly was ajourned for the day after paying homage to shehnai maestro Bismillah khan who died at Varanashi this morning.

As soon as the house reassembled after the lunch break, Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh informed that the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha had been adjounred after paying tributes to the maestro and suggested that the house be adjourned as mark of respect to the departed soul.

The Speaker, adjourned the House after the Chief Minister's suggestion saying the business listed for today would be taken up tomorrow.

The Chief Minister also declared three days state mourning.
