G V Mavalankar All India Shooting Championship to begin on Nov 5

Asansol, Aug 21 (UNI) The 15th G V Mavalankar All India Shooting Championship would begin at Chandmari here on November 5.

This was announced here today by West Bengal Rifle Association president Bijoy Chandra.

Asansol Rifle Club would be the host of the 10 day event. Nearly 1400 shooters from all over India would participate.

Meanwhile, the 39th West Bengal State Shooting would begin on October 31, he said. More than 150 shooters from 30 clubs would take part in the event.

The South Asian Federation (SAF) shooting would also he held in Asansol next year, he added.
