Cabinet clears OBC Quota Bill

New Delhi, Aug 20: The Union Cabinet tonight decided to introduce the OBC Quota Bill to provide reservation in government-run and aided higher educational institutions in the current session of Parliament.

The decision was taken at an emergency meeting of the cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Information and Broadcasting Minister P R Dasmunsi told reporters.
