BJP MLC buys time to publicise evidence against K'taka CM
Bellary, Karnataka, Aug 21 (UNI) BJP MLC G Janardhana Reddy, suspended by the party for making bribery allegation against Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, today decided to release the VCD to substantiate his charge on August 23, instead of tomorrow as announced earlier.
Emerging out of the Judicial Magistrate First Class (Junior Division) court after attending proceedings in a defamation case filed by him against Mr Kumaraswamy and others, he told reporters that a final decision on where to release the VCD would be taken soon. He was in a dilemma as to whether it should be released in Bellary or Bangalore or both the places, he added.
Mr Reddy had alleged that Mr Kumaraswamy and Forests Minister C Chennigappa had received a bribe of Rs 150 crore from the mining lobby in the district and claimed to have documentary evidence in support of his charge.
