Accused in Bihar's Raghopur massacre arrested in Delhi
New Delhi, Aug 21 (UNI) A proclaimed offender, involved in the massacre of six people in Bihar's Raghopur area, has been arrested in West Delhi with 40 kg of Ganja.
Police said Deepak was arrested on August 5 with the drug consignment from outside the Rajdhani College while he was travelling in a bus.
During interrogation, he revealed his antecedence as Deepak from Vaishali, Bihar. When Delhi police officials got in touch with their Bihar counterpart, Deepak, was identified as Bipat Rai involved in the massacre.
On January 1, this year, Bijender Mahto and his family, including children, were burnt alive in their house in Raghopur by Deepak.
Mahto had registered a case of cattle theft against the accused and his family.
