Video conference to link CM Office with remote areas in Haryana

Chandigarh, Aug 20 (UNI) Haryana Government has decided to set up a VSAT-based mobile multi-way instant high capacity video conference link alongwith redundant audio channels with phones between office of the Chief Minister here and remote sites.

While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Electronics and Information Technology Department said that an expression of interest has been invited from interested bidders to set up this project.

He said that the project would facilitate effective communication between the Chief Minister and people in remote areas. Also, it would help in live video recording of events at remote sites and Chief Minister's address at his office.

He said that there would be a static video conference unit at the office of the Chief Minister which would be used for establishing communication link from remote location through satellite for video and audio conference.
