Special prayer today at temple blast site

Imphal, Aug 20 (UNI) A special prayer will begin this evening the ISKCON temple, Imphal to seek peace and pray for speedy recovery of those injured in the blast that took place at the temple during Janmashtami celebrations on August 16.

The prayer will begin at 1700 hrs and continue till Sept 1 (Radha Asthami).

Meanwhile, condemnation over the incident continues to pour in and police are investigating the blast.

The state police has also announced an award of Rs one lakh to anyone giving information about the blast.

Most militant groups operating in the state have denied involvement in the incident.

Senior Army personnel and police say that they are still clueless about those involved in the blast which killed five persons, including two boys and a girl.
