Rayudu bats Hyderabad to breezy win

Chennai, Aug 20 (UNI) Hyderabad cantered home to a comfortable seven wicket win over Maharashtra in the Mindteck Buchi Babu All India cricket tournament here today.

Set an easy target of 65 in 45 overs, Hyderabad knocked off the runs in 14 overs losing three wickets, with Ambati Rayudu hitting a breezy 34 with six fours and a six as the team finsihed at 65 for three.

Earlier, resuming their second innings at 71 for three, Maharashtra were bowled out for 158 in 33.5 overs, with Hyderabad's left arm spinner Pragnan Ojha claiming seven wickets conceding 50 runs.

Enjoying the luxury of a 94-run first innings lead, Hyderabad knocked off the runs in double quick time to collect eight points from the win.
