Natwar thanks TN CM on recalling talks with Rajiv on Lanka

Chennai, Aug 20 (UNI) Former External Affairs Minister Natwar Singh today thanked Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M Karunanidhi for recalling the talks the latter had with Former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi in New Delhi in 1989 on the Sri Lankan Tamils issue.

Mr Natwar Singh spoke to Mr Karunanidhi phone and thanked him, an official release here said.

Mr Karunanidhi revealed the details of the 1989 talks he had with Mr Rajiv Gandhi in the State Assembly yesterday.
