HC asks police to probe doctor-beggar racket

Taking cognizance of a reference by a lower court, a Division Bench of Justices R S Sodhi and P K Bhasin asked the police to file a probe report on the matter within four weeks.

Some of these beggars had got their limbs amputated with the help of doctors who were part of the begging racket, said the petition seeking removal of the beggars from the capital city.
