Govt committed to change face of Goa within two years: Rane
Panaji, Aug 20 (UNI) Chief Minister Pratapsinh Rane has said his government will accord priority to education, health, industry and employment generation to change the face of Goa during the next two years.
Speaking after laying the foundation stone of a proposed Rs 1.50-crore modern bus stand at Shiroda, he said during the last one year, the State Government had achieved good progress and met the aspirations of the people. He paticularly appreciated the efforts of Panchayat Minister Subhash Shirodkar, whose tremendous development work, he said, is visible in the Shiroda village. Mr Shirodkar, he said, had contributed significantly to the education sector.
The bus stand at Shiroda will come up in six months on 15000 sq mts of land and is proposed to be built be on the lines of Canacona bus stand.
