Former DPCC general secretary Prem Savaria is dead

New Delhi, Aug 20 (UNI) Former Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary Prem Savaria died here today following a heart attack, the party said. He was 91.

His son Pramod lit the pyre at the Nigambodh ghat this evening.

Mr Savaria, a close associate of late party veteran H K L Bhagat, had served the party unit as general secretary for several years.

DPCC chief Ram Babu Sharma and other leaders have condoled the death.
