Flood deprives 253 examinees from taking exams
Neemuch, MP, Aug 20 (UNI) More than 250 examinees could not appear in supplementary examination of the Vikram University, as traffic was thrown off gear following incessant rains in this district, official sources said today.
The Government College in Neemuch had been selected as the centre for conducting supplementary examination of five colleges affiliated to the university. More than 600 examinees had to appear in the examination scheduled to be held on August 19.
However, 253 students from rural areas could not make to the examination centre because the district had been cut off from Manasa, Ratangarh and Jeeran areas.
Neemuch College Principal M L Patidar said the University administration had been alerted in this regard before the exam started.
However, directions were given to organise the examination. He admitted that about 41 per cent examinees could not take part in the examination.
