Eknath Thakur panel's 12 candidates elected for 5 yrs

Mumbai, Aug 20 (UNI) Saraswat Cooperative Bank Ltd in association with the Central apex body, has declared 12 candidates of MP Eknath Thakur panel elected as board members for the next five years.

Mr Thakur said the elections, which were held here yesterday, had attracted 80,000 voters.

The panel has secured 90 per cent votes and all his 12 candidates won the election, the former chairman of the bank said.

The bank has a turnover of Rs 11,000 crore, he added.
