CPI distributes relief materials to 77 families

Visakhapatnam, Aug 20 (UNI) CPI leaders today distributed relief material to 77 families of Kodipunjulavalasa in Araku mandal here.

CPI's Chintapalli MLA G Demudu and other cadres distributed the relief materials containing rice, dal, kerosene, utensils and blankets to the families, who had lost their belongings and houses in a landslide caused by heavy rainfall on August 3.

The landslide killed 18 people.

Mr Demudu said the Party's State Executive meeting scheduled to begin on September two at Guntur would finalise its decision on rehabilitation of six children whose parents died in the landslide.
