Contract killer working for PP gang nabbed in Varanasi

Varanasi, Aug 20 (UNI) A contract killer working for the PP Gang, active in the neighbouring state of Uttaranchal, was arrested with a revolver and narcotic substance from the Sigra area here today.

Police said here that Irfan, working for PP Gang was arrested from the Englishia Line area under the Sigra police station, following a tip off.

A countrymade revolver, cartridges and 20 gm smack were seized from his possession.

On interrogation, Irfan admitted to committing many contract killings for the PP gang, including the murder of Haldwani-based businessman Pankaj Khandelwal in Nainital on January 23 last for Rs two lakh paid by the businessman's brother to the PP gang, police added.

Further investigations were on.
