CM releases documentary film on Bharatidasan

Pondicherry, Aug 20 (UNI) Pondicherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy today released a documentary film based on Tamil poet Bharathidasan's "Kudumbavilakku," produced jointly by Paarvai Padaippagam and Sahithya Academi.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Rangasamy said the administration would consider to extend financial support for the production of documentary films.

Tamil Nadu legislator from Kattumannarkoil, Mr Ravikumar wanted that Bharathidasan's poems be send as ringtones.

Several Tamil scholars and journalists participated in the function.
