CM inauguares photo exhibition on floods

Mumbai, Aug 20 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh inaugurated ''Chitraboli'', a photographs exhibition on the floods in the State.

The exhibition was inaugurated on the occasion of the ''World Photography Day'' yesterday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister commended the photographers for performing their duties at great personal risk.

The photographs, he said, depicted the government's efforts in providing succour to the flood-affected people.

The exhibition displays photographs clicked by various government photographers. Ten photographers were felicitated by the Chief Minister on the occasion, an official release said here today.
