Brand-comm, WebEx to host 'BrandWidth Online 2006'

New Delhi, Aug 20 (UNI) Bangalore-based integrated communications agency Brand-comm will host a web seminar on brands and consumer trends-- BrandWidth Online 2006-- in collaboration with WebEx, on August 22.

Marketing professionals across the country will discuss emerging trends in brand communications and the Indian consumer landscape in an interactive session.

''Last year, the seminar was held only in Bangalore but this time, we will address professionals across the country. It will open up great opportunities for marketers, advertisers to attend seminars from remote locations by just logging on to the web,'' Brand-comm CEO Ramanujam Sridhar said.

The seminar, to commence at 1100 hrs, will be addressed by Titan Industries MD Bhaskar Bhat, McCann Erickson President Santosh Desai and Mr Sridhar to provide an overview of the dynamics that make the interface between the brand and Indian consumer.

One can attend the seminar from one's own desktop, sitting anywhere in India. Participants will not be charged for registration. The only infrastructure required is a broadband connection and a working telephone.

Web seminars are a common phenomenon across industries worldwide.

In India, it is for the first time that a web seminar is reaching out to the advertising and mass communication audience in the country, WebEx India MD Karnik Datar said.

Founded in 1996, WebEx India has grown into worldwide leader in online meeting application, with 64 per cent market share. More than 3.5 million people use Webex every month to communicate and collaborate online.
