Arunachal pays glowing tribute to Rajiv Gandhi
Itanagar, Aug 20 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh today joined the rest of the country in paying tributes to former Prime Minister late Rajiv Gandhi on the occasion of his 62nd birth anniversary today.
In a message from New Delhi, Chief Minister Gegong Apang called upon the people to rededicate themselves for strengthening social communal harmony.
Mr Apang described Rajiv Gandhi as the architect of modern India who cherished that the fruits of progress in science and technology should reflect in improving the living standards of the common man and dedicated his life in selfless service to the nation.
