Airtel launches new post-paid and pre-paid schemes in NE

Aizawl, Aug 20 (UNI) India's leading telecom service provider Airtel has lined up a host of new schemes for the benefit of its prepaid and post-paid customers in Mizoram this month.

As per the fresh announcement, new ISD rates would be charged both for Asom and the entire North East. As per the new scheme, all ISD calls made between 1900 hrs and 0700 hrs will be charged at Rs 7.20 for the first minute with gradual reduction every minute until it reaches Rs 3.20 from the fifth minute, after which there will be no change in the call rates.

Similarly, all calls made between 0700 hrs to 1900 hrs will be charged at Rs 4.20 irrespective of the duration of the call. The rates will be applicable for calls made to the USA, Canada, UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Hong Kong.

In the post-paid category, the rates will be applicable to eight bill plans while in the Prepaid category, it will apply to all service class except the Jodi Plan.

According to Anjuli Chittaranjan, Corporate Communications, Airtel for NE region, ''Other Offers include an additional A2A talktime on RCV 330 for prepaid customers, (except Lifetime&Easy Lifetime customers) in both Asom and North East''.

For Postpaid customers across all Plans, there is a Night Talktime Offer.'' All A2A calls will be charged Rs 10 per minute between 2300 hrs to 0600 hrs in Asom and between 2200 hrs to 0600 hrs in other NE states.
