Youth thrown out of running train in Chhattisgarh

Bilaspur, Aug 19 (UNI) A youth was killed and another sustained serious injuries when they were thrown out of a running train near Usnapur, about 10 km from here, this morning, Government Railway Police said.

The incident took place on Rewa-Bilaspur passenger train when a group of unidentified persons threw out Ram Singh and Sandeep Singh following a dispute.

Ram died on the spot, while Sandeep sustained serious injuries and was hospitalised at the Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences (CIMS) here.

The trouble began after some persons misbehaved with women passengers following a dispute over seats. Ram and Sandeep protested against it, leading to the scuffle. Later, both the youth were thrown out of the running train.

GRP police has registered a case. No arrests have been made so far.
