Workshop for cricket statisticians on September 10-11 at Nagpur

Mumbai, Aug 19 (UNI) The Association of Cricket Statisticians and Scorers of India (ACSSI) is organising a two-day workshop for Cricket Statisticians beginning September 10 at the Vidarbha Cricket Association, Nagpur.

This is the first such workshop in India. Apart from members, the workshop is also open to all those interested in cricket statistics. Invitations have also been extended to statisticians from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangadesh, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Kenya and the Middle East, an ACSSI release stated here today.

The workshop will be guided by eminent statisticians from India on different aspects of cricket stastistics in modern times like websites, electronic, print media, books, annuals, maintaining and research.

The ACSSI is also keen to build a network for scoring and statistics through their own website and assist the BCCI in their website as well, the release added.
