Waive loans, electricity bills of flood-affected farmers: Cong
Bhopal, Aug 19 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Opposition Leader Jamuna Devi has demanded the state government to waive bank loans and electricity bills of farmers in flood-affected areas.
In a statement here, Ms Devi said flood-affected families must be provided food materials at the earliest.
She alleged that relief operation was not being coordinated properly and complaints of irregularities were coming to notice.
Ms Devi expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for granting Rs 100 crore for the flood-affected in the state.
The Congress leader will leave today for visiting Indore, Dhar, Barwani and Khargone districts.
