UCO Bank to open its office in China soon

Jalandhar, Aug 19 (UNI) UCO Bank will soon open its representative office in China, bank Executive Director S A Bhat said today.

Talking to reporters here Mr Bhat said that the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) had already granted permission for setting up the office in China.

However, the clearance from the Chinese Banking Regulaotry Authority was yet to be obtained, he added.

With this, the number of overseas offices or branches of the bank would be four, Mr Bhat said.
