Two year old girl baby sent to 'Orphaned Home'

Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu Aug 19 (UNI) A two-year-old girl baby was handed over to the 'Orphaned Home' here today.

Police said the baby, who was crying at Chengalpattu Government Hospital for sometime, but nobody came forward to claim her. The matter was informed to the Social Welfare Office here, who in turn, informed the exigency of the situation to the District Collector Pradeep Yadav.

Mr Yadav has ordered for the baby to be handed over to the 'Orphaned Home' at Manappakkam, near here, police added.
