Super-speciality hospital for port city

Visakhapatnam, Aug 19 (UNI) Asian Institute of Gastroenterology Chief Surgical Gastroenterologist, Hyderabad, G V Rao today inaugurated a super speciality hospital, Kalavati Surgical and Laparoscopic Centre here today.

The new centre is equiped with four modernised operation theatres, c-arm, x-ray, ultra sound and auto analyser systems besides ligature and endoscopy. The hospital also has ventilato-defibrillator and pulse oximeter.

In adition to medical, surgical and gynaec facilities, the hospital has specialities in dental, trauma, care, neuro-surgery and intensive care unit (icu), ambulance and 24 hour pharmacy.

Hospital Managing Director K V S S Geetanand and several specialist doctors participated in the function.
