Rupee likely to go up next week

Mumbai Aug 19 (UNI) On the basis of this weeks performance it can be gauged that the Indian currency is expected to firm up against the US Dollar.

Indian currency over the previous week has firmed up but on the last trading day it weakned by four paise to close at 46.47/48, though it was better close over the previous weeks Rs 46.53 per US Dollar.

Experts feel, lower crude price, firm performance of Asian currencies and solid Indian markets are likely to give strength to the Indian currency.

On the basis of this weeks performance of the Rupee against other currencies, it can also be said that the Rupee is likely to perform well against other currencies like Euro, Pound Sterilng and the Japanese Yen.
