ONGC Delhi to play in BHA Super Division Hockey League

Mumbai, Aug 19 (UNI) Delhi's ONGC will be participating in the Bombay Hockey Association (BHA)-organised Super Division Hockey League to be held here from August 21 to September 19.

Apart from ONGC, nine local teams -- Western Railway, Air India, Bombay Customs, Indian Navy, Tatas, Central Railway, Hockey Bandra, M S Police and SAI will vie for top honours in the league, a BHA release stated.

The BHA has enhanced the prize money and the winner will get Rs 1.25 lakh while the runner-up will receive Rs 75,000. The prize money for the third placed team is Rs 25,000.

The league will begin with a match between Bombay Customs and SAI. Every day two matches will be played on week-days, the release added.
