Haryana to host Santosh Trophy

Chandigarh, Aug 19 (UNI) The All India Football Federation will organise 61st Senior National Football Competition (Santosh Trophy) in Faridabad and Gurgaon from October 11 to 27.

Haryana Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Phool Chand Mullana today said that league matches would be organised at Faridabad whereas quarter-final, semi-final and final matches will take place in Gurgaon.

As many as 32 teams from different states would participate in this tournament. Each team would comprise of 23 members and nearly 900 participants would participate in this competition including the team refrees and other officers, he added.
