Haryana may host some events of CW Games

Chandigarh, Aug 19 (UNI) Haryana may host some of the sports events of the 2010 Commonwealth Games to be held in Delhi.

This was indicated by Dr K V Singh, Officer on Special Duty to Haryana Chief Minister, while inaugurating the 41st State-Level School Sports Competition at Sirsa today.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Singh said a delegation of the Organising Committee had already conducted a survey in Haryana in this regard and there was a probability of the state hosting a few competitions of the Commonwealth Games in a couple of cities.
