Gas pipe line leak; major tragedy averted

Ferozabad, Aug 19 (UNI) A major tragedy was averted following timely intervention of officials, who plugged leakage in a gas pipe line supply to the world famous glass industry here.

Official sources said today a high tension wire snapped and fell on the gas pipe line last night at the Suhagnagar Awas Vikas Colony.

The gas started leaking and the pipe soon caught fire.

The incident caused panic in the area and the people informed concerned officials, who reached the spot and brought the situation under control.
