Country has sufficient coal: Soren

Coimbatore, Aug 19 (UNI) Union Minister of Coal Shibu Soren today said the country had sufficient stocks of coal and there was no shortage.

Talking to media persons here, he said there was adequate stocks of coal in thermal stations and other dependant units like steel and cement plants. Efforts are on to increase coal production and to identify new coal fields, he added.
