Cola majors plan to campaign with scientists
Hyderabad, Aug 19: After being badly hit by the recent campaign on high level of pesticide contents in soft drinks, 'Coke and Pepsi' are planning to seek the help of scientists to restore confidence among consumers.
According to sources, the company authorities had spoken to some of the scientists to make ads promoting their own brands that ''the soft drinks were not harmful to health and the cola companies were following the standards strictly''.
Industry sources said the firms were busy finalising their strategies to ensure that the new campaign look different from commercial advertisements.
The campaign would be planned carefully, and would hit TV channels and newspapers shortly, the sources added.
