"Coalition government would fall on its own: Kharge

Hubli, Aug 19 (UNI) Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President Mallikarjun Kharge tonight said that the Janata Dal (Secular) and Bharatiya Janata Party coalition government would fall on its own and there is no need for his party to chalk out any strategy to dislodge it.

Talking to newspersons here Mr Kharge described the coalition government as "opportunistic" and accused it of exploiting people instead of serving them ''We are protesting against this government from Block to District level. We want this government to run and give good administration but the non-constitutional authority behind the government is not allowing it to do so'', he said without naming JD (S) National President H D Deve Gowda.

Replying to a question Mr Kharge said that his party was ready to face elections any time. ''We are in readiness since January last to face the elections.'' Mr Kharge criticised the style of functioning of the JD-S led coalition government in the State saying that discretionary funds were being used indiscriminately by the government.
