BSF firing kills one Bangladeshi intruder

Raigunj, Aug 19 (UNI) One Bangladeshi intruder carrying smuggled goods was shot dead when BSF personnel opened fire after halting order was defied at the Indian side on Indo-Bangla border here this morning.

Police said about 10-12 Bangladeshi nationals defied halting order after they cut through barbed wire carrying smuggled goods forcing BSF jawans to fire at them in which one person was killed.

Rest o the intruders fled to that side with the goods.

The body was recovered and sent for post mortem here.
