High Court rejects bail petition of Sadhu Yadav
Patna, Aug 17 (UNI) Patna High Court today rejected the anticipatory bail petition of RJD MP Anirurdh Prasad Yadav alias Sadhu Yadav in a case related to misuse of power in favour of a particular candidate during the recently held Panchayat elections.
A single bench of justice Navin Sinha today dismissed anticipatory bail petition of Mr Yadav, after hearing the arguments of the petitioner and the prosecution.
The anticipatory bail application of Mr Yadav had been rejected by the district and sessions judge of Gopalganj on July 17, 2006 in the same case.
An FIR was lodged against Mr Yadav in Phulwaria police station on June 29, 2006 alleging that he had manhandled Dinesh Prasad Sahu during a meeting, convened by the local officials, on election of Pramukh and sub-Pramukh of Hathua block in Gopalganj district.
