GAIL CMD selected Fellow of World Academy

New Delhi, Aug 17: Gail India Chairman and Managing Director Proshanto Banerjee has been selected as Fellow of the World Academy of Productivity Science, the company said today.

Mr Banerjee will be formally inducted into the Canada-based academy during a special ceremony on October 9, 2006 at the 14th World Productivity Congress in Shenyang, China.

The academy represents the intellectual capital of the World Confederation of Productivity Science and comprises of a distinguished group of persons who are committed to raise the standards of living of people across the globe through productivity enhancement.

It acts as a trans-national forum for discussions on policy and infrastructure development and also contributes significantly to the development of productivity science.
