Venus Remedies bags DCGI approval for launch of its product

Mumbai, Aug 16 (UNI) Venus Remedies today informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that the Drug Controller General of India has granted it's approval for the launch of the company's third innovative R&D developed product, Fixed Dose Combination (FDC).

The commercial launch of this product shall help millions of patients across the country recover faster from the dreaded Hospital Acquired Pneumonia (HAP), which has acquired alarming proportions through out the world. The treatment time shall also be reduced by almost 50 per cent.

This new FDC shall be launched under a strategic marketing tie-up with leading Indian pharma companies very shortly, in the Rs 4 billion domestic market and is expected to gain a substantial share within the very first year of its launch. The company's plans to take this product to the international market are also being pursued aggressively.

The company has already filed patent applications for worldwide protection of its patent rights.
